We will attempt to ship your product as fast as we can. Sometimes we may get backed up and will provide you an estimate shipping date. For international shipping we can't control the custom's costs or control if it get held up in customs. We will attempt to keep control of shipping information and tracking information.
Shipping Policy - the basics
Having said that, a Shipping Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and us (Jacques 2 Tite). It is the legal framework for presenting our obligations to you the customer, but also to address different possible scenarios that may occur, and what happens in each and every case.
A Shipping Policy is a good practice and it helps both sides - us (Jacques 2 Tite and you (the customer). As soon as a product is ready to ship we promise to ship it out and to inform you (the customer) the tracking number and expect date of arrival. We will try to find the least expensive method, some products based on weight and size may incur larger shipping costs. We are looking to be as fair by not building any shipping costs that are not necessary. It some cases, crating will be needed to protect large and fragile items. This crating will be the customer's cost will be known before we ship.
