River Tables are metaphors for a real river (epoxy) running through wood. Based on the level of detail, river tables can represent a river running often 2+ inches deep, there is a derivation of epoxy called deep pour which takes a long time 2-4 days to cure. Being that stiff and deep it acts as one with other materials such as exotic woods, becoming one with the wood, a great usage is for longer tables.
